My Story
Hello and welcome to Circle Integrative Veterinary Wellness. I am Dr. Jacquelyn Boyd and I am glad you found me! I was raised in Northwest Ohio where I was heavily involved in showing Quarter horses at the state and regional levels. I attended The University of Findlay where I received my Bachelor’s degrees before obtaining my veterinary degree from The Ohio State University in 2014. After graduation, I returned to The University of Findlay where I taught courses in anatomy and physiology and animal science. Since 2019, I have been a general small animal practitioner at a practice in the Columbus area.
I became interested in veterinary acupuncture after my own pet developed health issues that do not have many conventional treatment options. I attended the acupuncture course through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and the more I learned about Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, the more I fell in love with its holistic treatment focus. I was amazed at the results I witnessed during my study and decided I wanted to dedicate my practice to providing this ancient healing modality to pets.
